How Ted chose poorly |
At Friday 9 pm. Tonight is an important night for Ted. According to Barney, every hookup at a weekend wedding is decided at Friday night drinks. If Ted chooses the wrong girl, he will be miserable for the whole weekend. Barney illustrates the situation like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. How important Indie chooses the “holy grail” wisely, it’s the matter of life and death as Ted chooses his date tonight.
At least it’s what Barney thought. How lame is that right. Come on, you can’t compare The Holy Grail and a date. So here we goes, Barney and Robin have picked up three prospects to be Ted’s date for the wedding weekend. Among the prospects that Barney offers, Ted chooses Casey (Anna Camp, from Pitch Perfect my fave movie. I actually excited to see her appearance here). The Knight from Indiana Jones suddenly appears to Ted telling him he chose poorly (like the movie). The rest of the night goes with Ted repeatedly makes poor choices that ends up with him stuck with Casey the whole weekend and the visions of the knight will come and reminds him how he chooses poorly. The scene that I enjoy and recall the most, is when Ted got stuck with Casey again when he once has escaped of her. If there’s silver lining in the story, the older Ted says that maybe he poor choice that time, is actually helped him ended up with nobody at the wedding. It’s the only way he can meet the mother later. Anyway, I noted that the mother is absent again in this episode. I must say I’m kind of disappointed. All I want in this season is to see more of her.

How the stories might change |
Meanwhile,
Lily upset because Barney and Robin use the story of how she and Marshall met,
so that the minister adores them. When the reverend knows about how Barney and
Robin lied the whole time, he refuses to prosecute the wedding service. When
this couple comes to him to apologize for being deceitful, their real “honesty”
kills the reverend literally. Here comes the problems, in the next two days
they have to find the substitute..
Rating: 6/10. It’s just a regular episode for me. Also, I don’t find it funny to offenses the minister about the married thing. If they never believe in the holiness of the married, maybe they should consider not to be wed in a church in the first place right. It’s so typical of them. Why I don’t surprise seeing them makes fun of minister and his belief. See HIMYM recap here>>
Fave quotes:
Barney: I forget what it was called, but it's like "the holy grail" of cups.
